Services provided by the SWS Ministry of Transportation 

Article 1: Duties and Responsibilities of the Vehicle Registration Office (Officio P.R.A) Office of Public Registration Automobile) is the office of the Ministry Transport mandated to Authorize activities related to different types of public transportation. 

The Public Transport Registration Office (P.R.A) consists of seven (7) offices.

1.Office of the Director of Transportation P.R.A.

2.Target Registry Office

3.Licensing office.

4.Office of Accountants.

5.Vehicle Test Office.

6.Driver Examinations Office. 

7. Notary Office. 

The office has specific duties and responsibilities, and they are separate as follows:          

I. Public transport registrations        

II. Issuance of Public Transportation Certificates.    

III. Public transport license plates, embassies, international agencies (UN, and non-governmental organizations NGOs)    

IV. Issuance of transit license       

V. Transfer of ownership of vehicles purchased After through the relevant authorities    

VI. Issuance of driver’s licenses (1st, 2nd, 3rd, international and standards Government transport. 

VII. Administration of test for drivers

VIII. Issuance of permit certificate to driving schools    

IX. Testing vehicle road worthiness       

X. Preparing, monitoring and enforcing traffic laws for the public.
